Peri-implantitis is a clinical condition that is a rapidly growing problem with the increasing use of Implants in dental restorations. However, there are clinical practices to prevent the situation from occurring from the planning stage of the treatment. Similarly, there are clinical practices that we could follow to avoid the problem from happening throughout the life of the implant prosthesis.
TMJ Disorders and orofacial pain. These conditions are more widely prevalent conditions in the general population than we realize that they exist. Our responsibility as oral and facial health care providers is to recognize the presence of these clinical conditions, properly diagnose them, and either provide the necessary treatment or refer to a specialist who would be able to treat these conditions.
Restorative options for edentulous and partially edentulous patients. With the increased usage of dental implants and the various prosthetic components that are available in the armamentarium. We can provide a wide variety of treatment options with thorough treatment planning and understanding the patient's needs.
