Maine Immigration Forum (MiF) 2026
About this Event
We invite you to be part of our exciting in-person event that aims to bring together a diverse audience. Come learn, connect, and be part of the conversation at Halo On The Point, on Thompson's Point in Portland, Maine.
The Maine Immigration Forum (MiF), an event spearheaded by the Maine Immigrants’ Rights Coalition, serves as a beacon of celebration and recognition for immigrant communities across the state.
The theme of MiF's third year: "Persevering in Adversity, Growing the Mutual Aid Movement in Maine."
This year's theme draws parallels between resistance and resilience, centering on solidarity, community care, and sustainable endurance.
The event will feature a keynote speaker, entertainers, and musicians whose work and lived experiences bridge the gap between resistance and resilience.
Additionally, we will showcase groups involved in rapid response and fundraising to support MIRC members and partners.
