Maine Craft Weekend is a statewide tour of Maine craft studios, businesses, and events. The weekend offers an opportunity for the public to explore the life and work of craft artists and businesses in Maine and for artists to connect with craft enthusiasts, collectors, and visitors behind the scene.Visit the Art of Clay Studio during Maine Craft Weekend for demos, artist chats, and hands-on activities.
OCTOBER 3
SCREENING OF A HANDMADE LIFE, 6:30pm

OCTOBER 4
BEGINNING 3D DESIGN + PRINTING CLASS, 10am–2pm

Curious about 3D printing? This hands-on, two-part class is the perfect place to start. You’ll learn the entire 3D printing process from design to finished object using our new Bambu Lab A1 Mini 3D printers and MacBook Airs. No experience necessary—just bring your creativity and curiosity!
Open to all; ages 13–15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
11am-7pm–Dark the Night and Bright the Stars exhibition in the Ticonic Gallery
THE ART OF CLAY STUDIO , 11am-4pm
The Art of Clay open studio, artist demos, hands-on clay activities, and member’s sale
11am–12pm–Hands-On Clay Activities (Session 1)
Visitors can try throwing on the wheel or work on a pinch pot project.
12–1pm–Demos with Jeffrey Lipton & Devin McDonald
Wheel-throwing and hand building functional forms
1–2pm–Hands-On Clay Activities (Session 2)
Same as Session 1, visitors can try throwing on the wheel or work on a pinch pot project.
2–4pm–Member Demos
Watch studio members create on the wheel and hand-building projects during open studio.
11am-7pm–Dark the Night and Bright the Stars exhibition in the Ticonic Gallery
