As a lead-up to the Paul Brodie Bicycle Show on June 15th and 16th, the Mount Pleasant BIA and Main Street Brewing present the Vintage Mountain Bike Show and Shine. This exciting event aims to celebrate the vibrant history of mountain biking in Vancouver and beyond.Come by for an afternoon filled with nostalgia, live music, and community spirit on the 200 block of East 7th ave (right outside of Main Street Brewing). Bicycle enthusiasts can indulge in various categories, including Vintage (with a special sub-category for Best Brodie), Resto Mod, and Peoples Choice. Attendees are encouraged to register for participation with a nominal fee of $5, which will be donated to the PEDAL Society—a charitable organization dedicated to providing accessible bicycle programs through community bikes.

To participate in the Vintage Mountain Bike Show and Shine, individuals can sign up by sending an email to [email protected]. Registration includes a $5 fee, with all proceeds benefiting the PEDAL Foundation.

In addition to the exciting showcase of vintage mountain bikes, Main Street Brewing will be launching the highly anticipated Paul Brodie's Workshop beer. This limited edition brew pays homage to Paul Brodie's legendary contributions to the cycling industry, started right here in Mt Pleasant!
