Valley of the Nerds is taking over Main Street!
Join us on Friday, August 14 at 6:00 p.m. for a downtown cosplay adventure filled with professional photos, local businesses, ridiculous quests, and plenty of opportunities to meet your people.
We’ll begin with individual and group cosplay portraits before dividing into small adventuring parties. Each party will follow QR-code clues through participating Main Street businesses, where you may be asked to solve a riddle, roll on a wild quest table, take a group selfie, complete a quick roleplaying challenge, or record your party doing something amazingly dramatic.
Every clue will lead you farther through the story until the parties reach the final gathering location, where we can eat, hang out, share our favorite moments, and award prizes for completing the quest, creativity, teamwork, and character commitment.
This event is open to experienced cosplayers, first-timers, curious adventurers, and anyone who simply wants to join the fun. Cosplay is encouraged, but you do not need an expensive or elaborate costume to participate.
Professional event photos will be shared through the Valley of the Nerds Facebook page, so make sure you are following us to see and receive the finished images.
