National Mai Tai Day is on August 30, but we need a full week to celebrate this tropical drink! Come on by and join us at Chesapeake & Maine from August 25-31 for a week-long celebration of Mai Tai Week! We’re shaking things up with four handcrafted creations that riff on the iconic Mai Tai. Whether you're into tropical vibes, earthy depth, nutty sips, or a little heat, there’s a Mai Tai here with your name on it.
The Lineup:
Original Mai Tai:
Our secret blend of Caribbean & Dogfish Head Spirit Rums gets cozy with Dry Curacao, Orgeat, Rich Syrup, Lime, and Angostura Bitters.
Midnight Puffs:
Dogfish Head Spirit Samba Amburana Whiskey, cacao nib–infused reposado tequila, roasted peanut vodka, toasted coconut orgeat, lime, Xocolat Mole bitters, and a Coco Puff milk wash.
Mere Terre: (“Mother Earth” in French)
Floral, funky, and rooted in the earth. Chamomile-infused Calvados, Sol Tarasco Charanda Añejo, Alpeggio Hay Liqueur, Smith & Cross, sunflower orgeat, lime, and black walnut bitters.
Esqui-Tai’s:
Nutty, spicy, and totally unexpected. Dogfish Head Spirit Barrel Honey Rum and Let’s Get Lost Whiskey meet Nixta Elote Liqueur, pepita orgeat, lime, Ancho chili tincture, and cilantro.
