Following along a symphonic poem of a young nobleman, Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 starts with the soft sounds of nature and ending with ominous funeral march. John Williams’ iconic Jurassic Park Theme accentuates the brilliant melody to befit the momentous dinosaur giants. Centering around long-established call and response, Valerie Coleman’s wrote Umoja to commemorate unity for the world.
Tickets start at $11, and Under 18 tickets are $11.
You can purchase tickets online or through the Appell Center Box Office. You can visit or call the box office at 717-846-1111. The box office is open Monday- Friday from 10am-4:30pm and two hours before a performance.
