Mahjong With A Mission

Mahjong with a Mission is Columbia’s first-ever Mahjong fundraiser benefiting glioblastoma cancer research through the Gayla Miller Foundation. Held at the Country Club of Missouri, this special evening honors Gayla’s lasting impact on our community while bringing guests together for cocktails, light bites, a brief program, and Mahjong play in support of an important cause.

Mahjong play will begin at 7:30 PM, and prizes will be awarded in several categories. We will be playing using the 2025 National Mahjong League card, with house rules followed at each table.

If you would like to ensure you are seated with friends, please purchase a table or individual tickets and list all four players you wish to sit with. We will do our best to accommodate seating requests. If your group does not have four players, we will happily pair you with other guests.

As this is a charity event, gameplay may vary slightly by table and is intended to be a fun, social experience for all participants.
