About this Event
Mahjong for Breast Cancer Survivors
Join Forge Breast Cancer Survivor Center for a beginner-friendly Mahjong Social Game Night, hosted by the Junior League of Birmingham.
Never played Mahjong? No worries! No prior experience is needed! Volunteers will be there to help you learn the essential rules, so you can play confidently.
After a volunteer led lesson, volunteers will coach participants through a practice round, and then, participants will be able to play a round on their own.
If you already know the basics and just want to jump into a game, there will be an opportunity for open play.
This special evening is all about connection, laughter, and community in a relaxed and supportive setting!
Doors will open at 5:30 for you to enjoy dinner prior to getting started with the lesson and open play, which will begin at 6:00 PM.
