- Please bring your NMJL Card if you have one. If not, cards will be available for purchase ($15).
- Open play is a casual environment intended for socializing, practice, and FUN! Highly social and relaxed vibe for all players - those with only three games under their belt or your most seasoned players.
- Blank tiles will be available at most tables. The four players at the table will decide for or against including the blanks.
- Table spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, may be assigned, or drawn randomly. Sorry, seat saving is not permitted. As is the Mahjong spirit, if someone approaches an empty seat at your table to play, they should NEVER be turned away.
- If players are waiting for a spot to open up, as your table finishes a hand, the moderator may ask for a volunteer from you table to trade out.
- Please Maintain a pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Avoid "kibitzing" (coaching other players), running commentaries on your hand, and excessive complaining about bad tiles
- We love our competitive side, but this night is just for fun!
- Also, we love prizes, so be ready!
