Mahjong Mondays at The Pines Pizza and Pub
Join us on Monday, July 27, 2026, for a fun, relaxed Mahjong session! Whether you're learning for the first time or have been playing for years, you'll enjoy a welcoming afternoon or evening of Mahjong, food, and new friends.

Join us at The Pines Restaurant for a casual, social Mahjong event designed for all experience levels. Whether you've never played, are a little rusty, or play every week, we'll make sure you feel right at home.

We'll organize tables based on experience so everyone has a great experience.
• Beginner tables with guided instruction
• Casual play tables for those who know the basics
• Experienced tables for confident players
We'll also do our best to seat you with friends if requested.

$10 per person
Your ticket includes:
- $5 toward food or drinks

• No experience necessary. Beginners are always welcome.
• Experienced players are encouraged to join too.
• Seating is organized by experience level.
• Friend requests are welcome.
• Please arrive on time if you'd like to participate in the beginner lesson.
• Space is limited, so advance registration is recommended. If registration has closed, feel free to stop by. If we have room, we'll gladly fit you in!

Arrive, check in, and grab a seat. Order drinks or a light bite, and we’ll help guide you to your table.
Tables will be loosely organized by experience level.
1:15 – 2:00 PM | Beginner Lesson + Table Setup
A quick, approachable introduction to Mahjong.
We’ll cover tile basics, how to read the NMJL card, and how a game flows.
This isn’t a full masterclass, just enough to get you comfortably playing.
Experienced players are welcome to begin casual play or settle into tables.
2:00 – 3:15 PM | Open Play
All tables begin or continue gameplay.
Hosts will circulate to answer questions, support beginners, and keep games moving.
Tables may shift slightly to keep things balanced and fun.
3:15 – 3:30 PM | Wrap-Up + Light Prizes
A few fun, low-key prize moments.
Finish final hands, wrap up games, and take time to connect, chat, and plan your next visit.
