About this Event

Mondays is for Mahjong at Ninja City!

The walls are calling, Cleveland! Whether you are a seasoned player or a recent 101 graduate looking to build your confidence, we have a seat for you.

What to expect: We will have both American Mahjong tables and Chinese/Hong Kong style tables.

Tables are for open play (experienced, can play without guidance) and guided play (need some support, rule enforcement, suggestions).

Important Note: This is NOT a 101 Clinic

To ensure a fun pace of play for everyone, no formal, step-by-step instruction will be provided at this event.

• If you know the basics: You are completely welcome here! Don't be intimidated—it's a supportive environment to practice your pace and strategy.
• If you have never played before: We highly recommend catching one of our dedicated Beginner 101 Clinics first. We promise to get you up to speed fast so you can confidently join the open play tables next time!

What to Bring

• Your current year card (if playing American Mahjong), if you have one. If not, no worried - we will have a 2026 card for you to borrow.
• A friendly attitude ready for some casual "table talk".
• Optional: Feel free to bring your own tile set if you'd like to use at your own table. If you choose this option, you do NOT need another ticket for yourself. If there are others with you, they will need to register for their own seat.
