Mahjong for Scholarships

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of Mahjong, snacks, and community spirit at the Mahjong for Scholarships event on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pastides Alumni Center. Hosted by the Columbia Gamecocks Alumni Club, this exciting event brings together Mahjong enthusiasts for an afternoon of friendly competition — all while raising funds for our scholarship program.

Celebrity Tables This year's event features two exclusive celebrity tables:

• Emily Beamer Table — Three attendees will have the opportunity to play alongside Emily Beamer, wife of USC Head Football Coach Shane Beamer.
• Krisdee Clark Table — Three attendees will play alongside Krisdee Clark, 2022 Mrs. America, breast cancer survivor, author, and advocate.

When purchasing a Celebrity Table, please list the names of the three players who will be seated at your table.

Playing with a group? If you and your friends are registering separately and would like to be seated at the same table, enter a shared group name in the designated field at checkout. We'll use this to coordinate seating arrangements prior to the event.

Parking Parking is available in the garage attached to the Pastides Alumni Center.

Please Note This is an open-play event. Participants should have some familiarity with the game prior to attending.
