Whether you're completely new to Mahjong or have played before, this relaxed drop-in session offers an opportunity to learn, practise, and connect with others through the game. Participants can drop in throughout the session to play, build their confidence, and enjoy the social aspects of Mahjong. Guidance will be available for beginners, while more experienced players are welcome to share their knowledge and enjoy a friendly game.

No gambling will be permitted. Open to all levels, ages 16+.

About the Facilitator: Karen Chau (Mah Jong Karen) grew up in Hong Kong but it wasn't until after immigrating to Canada that she learnt the basic game of Mah Jong by playing with her family. To this day, her Mom continues to rule as the true Diva. Mah Jong Karen loves this Chinese game of luck, strategy and speed. It is exhilarating to outrun and outwit your opponents to grasp the winning hand! It is her ultimate goal to master this game and turn into a worthy adversary for her Mom at the Mah Jong Table.
