Learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong in a guided, hands-on format as you team up with fellow players at your table. You will leave with a helpful takeaway guide, fresh skills, and a new obsession! Come curious, leave ready to call Mahjong!

Open Play: Independent Gameplay
Already know how to play? Join our Open Play tables running alongside Mahjong 101. This option is perfect for players who want casual, independent gameplay without instruction.
Enjoy a relaxed setting with full use of Mahjong sets. Bring your 2025 NMJL Card if you have one - if not, we will have some available to use. Players will be seated by self-selected skill level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) to keep games fun and evenly matched. Come solo or bring friends!
Open Play sessions require a minimum of four participants to run. If fewer than four are registered, we will contact you with the option to transfer to a future session or receive a full refund.
