With joyful hearts and profound gratitude, the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace ʻohana invites you to a special Mahalo Dinner honoring Bishop Larry Silva and his 21 years of faithful service as Bishop of Honolulu.

Dinner Cost: $30 per person

Please note: Although Eventbrite may display this event as “Free,” there is a $30 per-person cost for dinner. Eventbrite is being used for reservations and attendance registration only. Payment for dinner will be collected separately.

For more than two decades, Bishop Larry has shepherded the Church in Hawaiʻi with faith, dedication, humor, and a deep love for the people he has been called to serve. Throughout those years, the Cathedral Basilica has held a special place in his episcopal ministry and in the life we have shared together as a parish community.

As Bishop Larry begins a new chapter of his ministry as Bishop Emeritus of Honolulu, we gather as his Cathedral ʻohana to simply say mahalo.

Join fellow parishioners, friends, clergy, and members of our community for a joyful evening of good food, fellowship, memories, and celebration as we honor Bishop Larry and give thanks for his extraordinary service to our parish, our diocese, and the people of Hawaiʻi.

This evening celebrates the friendships, memories, milestones, and faith we have shared with Bishop Larry throughout his years as our bishop—and the special place he will continue to hold within our Cathedral and diocesan ʻohana.

Come celebrate with us as we surround Bishop Larry with the aloha and gratitude of the community he has served so faithfully.
