This weekend, The Burg will have such perfect fall weather we are going to create something everyone loves- a Fall Festival.We have arranged for an authentic chuckwagon cookout right in front of the Mercantile. A delicious, over the fire meal cooked up right by a beautiful chuckwagon. All served right out of a Dutch oven.......Can't be beat on a crisp, fall day.
Chuckwagon Menu
Hot Coffee or Hot Chocolate- $1.50
Chili with Corn Bread- $10.00
Cobbler- $5.00
Chili Dog with Fixin's - $7.00 , with cheese $8.00
All chuckwagon sales are cash
Then there will be fun for the kids with bobbing for apples and a hot, fresh caramel apple station.
Also, hot apple cider will be available- and both the cider and hot chocolate will have adult versions available for sale within the mercantile along with other fall cocktail specials.
Then....yes, there's more....we are so happy that we can include Magnolia Market around the corner at 202 N Holden in this autumn event........we will have some great fall offerings there as well such as hot apple pie served along with your choice of yummy Central Dairy ice cream at the Market. And we are working up some tasty apple shake and pumpkin shake recipes...
And then!!!......Live, Local Music with John Kennedy start at 6:30 PM. What a perfect way to end a gorgeous, fall day.
