Magisterra Christmas Baroque
About this Event
Celebrate the holiday season with an afternoon of Baroque and Classical music featuring works by J.S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Carl Philip Stamitz, Pietro Nardini, Jean-Baptiste Bréval, and David Popper.
This special concert brings together Magisterra Soloists and featured guest flutists Sharon Kahan and Yiping Zhang for a program spanning elegant Baroque melodies, virtuosic instrumental writing, and festive seasonal music. The concert will also showcase the recipients of the 2026 Young Performer’s Award, celebrating the accomplishments of four emerging young musicians: violinist Dora Zong, violist Jocelyn Liao, and cellists Lydia Graham and Ronald Ahn.
Join us for a festive afternoon of exceptional music-making as we celebrate the next generation of performers alongside some of the great composers of the Baroque and Classical traditions.
