Did you know that the strongest tool in your magickal box is your mind?
Magick and the Mind: A Practical Workshop in Attention, Imagination, Symbolism and Will is a 4-5h hour practical workshop exploring the inner skills that make spiritual and magickal practice and your mind in day to day life stronger: attention, imagination, symbolism, will, embodiment, and ritual.
This won’t be a lecture heavy workshop (like some of my others) where you sit and listen. You’ll be actively working with your own mind, your own symbols, and your own practice.
We’ll draw on ideas from Karl Jung, Rudolf Steiner and William James, archetypal psychology, active imagination, symbolism, alchemy, and ritual practice, but everything will be brought back into something you can actually experience and use in your practice.
You’ll choose a symbolic object at the beginning of the workshop and work with it throughout the session, using it to explore focus, imagination, archetype, intention, and ritualistic design.
During the workshop, you’ll practise attention exercises, symbolic reflection, active imagination, archetype work, intention shaping, charm writing, and ritual anchor creation.
By the end, you’ll leave with your own personal ritual anchor, a clearer understanding of how your mind participates in any magickal practice, and a simple 7 day practice to continue at home.
This is for anyone who wants to start or deepen their magickal practice beyond tools or correspondences, and begin working more consciously with the mind as part of the practice itself.
This workshop is great for beginners and intermediate practitioners.
