We are honored and excited to have Medicine Poet Valerie A Szarek share Magical Shamanic Experiences + Shaping Reality.
Most of us are unaware of the origins and deeper meanings of the words we use. We are weaving medicines and spells with all the sounds we make.
Together we'll explore intention and attention. We will look at origins and breath and rhythms. What are our intentions, and how can we use our opportunities to make a greater impact that is more aligned with our values? What do we create through our speaking? How do we sabotage ourselves and what are some simple tools we can harness to bring more ease, power. And love into our worlds?
Writing can be Shamanic Ceremony. Together we'll step off a cliff and discover that we can fly with the stars.
Valerie A. Szarek is a shamanic practitioner, award-winning performance Poet and Native American Flute player. Her poems are healing, present, political and Shamanic. They cross between the seen and unseen worlds effortlessly.
She is a graduate of The Silva Method (1973), Integra School of healing Arts (1996-1999), Alchemical Hypnotherapy (1998), Shamanic Trainings (2018) and many other modalities. She has created and taught energy and psychic healing courses since 1975. She has private practice in Louisville, Colorado and teachings “Writing as Ceremony” classes online each month.
Her words, music and workshops are featured at festivals and events around Colorado, including the International Young Leadership Conference, The Mercury Cafe, The Telluride Literary festival, and Ziggie’s Poetry Festivals. She was named “Poet of the Year” Blissfest, 2018. Other awards: Colorado Author’s League best poem 2020 and 2021 and The National Poetry Federation Winner’s Circle Award 2016. Valerie offers “Writing as Ceremony” workshops monthly.

Our community connection time starts at 5:30 PM and at 6:00 PM the presentation starts. BEPC monthly presentations are open to anyone and are on the 3rd Monday of the month. No cost to club members and $6 ($7 via Paypal) for guests, plus anyone can become a member.
