Magical Perfumery: Blending from Accords

Join perfumer, astrologer, and herbalist Janine Malina for an afternoon of bespoke blending. Using aromas for the traditional perfume families/accords (Chypre, Amber, Fougere, Citrus/Cologne and Rondeletia/Floral) we will explore their use for magic and intention, creating an oil based perfume to take home. The first half of the class will be spent learning about over 20 essential oils, resins and absolutes and their properties, and the rest will be hands-on immersive perfumery, with as little or as much guidance as you need. All skill levels are welcome, and all supplies are provided except for pen and paper for note taking.

Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, or bring an apron, as these natural materials may stain! We will begin at 1pm on the dot, so please be punctual.
