Magic Sun Prints with Nature's Wonders
About this Event
A magical morning for the whole family.
Gather leaves, petals, and treasures — then let the sun do its work, transforming them into stunning cyanotype prints. A hands-on experience for young artists and grown-ups alike.
What to expect
Guided by Brooke Lumbus, with support from Rachel Devai, a preschool teacher who brings a special gift for working with young artists.
At this workshop you'll explore the ancient art of sun printing (cyanotype) using nature's own treasures. Arrange your composition, expose it to the sun, and watch the magic unfold as your print reveals itself. Create up to three prints to mat and take home — ready to frame or gift.
This is a family-friendly experience designed for creative bonding.
What's included
- All cyanotype supplies and materials
- Up to three finished sun prints per participant, matted and ready to frame
- Nature treasures to work with (or bring your own!)
- Two hours of guided family creativity
- Refreshing drinks and snacks included.
