TO REGISTER: https://museumlondon.ca/programs-events/event/12003/Join local artist Reilly Knowles to create a miniature quilt inspired artwork using beginner sewing and embroidery techniques. Participants will learn how to layer fabric scraps in a “log cabin” quilt block design. Embracing exploration and playfulness, attendees will be encouraged to use personal intuition to choose colours, patterns and embellishments to create a unique work of art.
Workshop attendees will first gather in the lobby to view Reilly’s textile installation, "Magic Circle for Earth Communion". This workshop is part of the 2024 Ontario Culture Days Festival, and is free to attend with registration.
