Quickly, their passion for loud rock music drove them to put pen to paper and the rest is history. Their approach to music is akin to Americana run through an alt-rock meat grinder. Their rust-belt mix of alternative, blues, and grass-fed rock n roll have been released through The Animal Farm record label. They can be found playing their original music across metro-Detroit.The Common ScoldsThe Common Scolds formed in 2013 over a shared profession - law - and a love of music. He has been writing music and performing for more than 30 years. He lives in the Ypsi area and is eternally grateful for the support of his wife, Meredith Schindler, his four adult children, Esme, Hannah, Teilo and Taran, and his dad, David Getto.Strongman Don CummingsDon isnt just an amazing trial lawyer, husband, and father. Hes an oldetime strongman who specializes in bending nails, bolts, horseshoes, and structural steel bars with nothing more than his bare hands. He has broken 17 world-records for steel bending and competes on the international stage at an elite level. Dons fundraising efforts in honor of his friend Scott Smith through the Nails for Ales for ALS program are truly inspirational and were honored to have him show off his impressive feats of strength for us at Lawlapalooza!
