Magic Academy: Learn to Play is a welcoming, beginner-focused event series designed to introduce new players to Magic: The Gathering in a friendly and supportive environment. Participants receive Welcome Decks, which include two pre-built 30-card decks of different colors that can be shuffled together to start playing immediately. The event begins with a video demonstration and guided instruction from knowledgeable staff who teach the fundamental rules, game mechanics, and the unique playstyles of different colors in Magic. Attendees learn the flow of the game, including casting spells, attacking, and defending, all in a relaxed setting tailored for beginners aged 13 and up.
