About this Event
MAGGIE UNPLUGGED
Reflections on 50 Years of Working with Families
An evening of insight, reflection and celebration with Dr. Maggie Mamen
After working with children, parents, and professionals, Dr. Maggie Mamen is opening up about what she’s learned and what still holds true.
Join us for a rare and engaging conversation as Maggie reflects on five decades of experience supporting families, offering perspective on how parenting, family life, and mental health have evolved - and the questions that continue to shape how we support children today.
What we’ll explore:
- How parenting approaches and family dynamics have shifted over time
- Changes in how we understand and diagnose mental health
- The evolving relationship between professionals and parents
- The “universals” that continue to guide how we support children
