EXPECT
➣ PLANTS and PLANT FRIENDS!
➣ Raffle to win a selection of gardening-themed gifts and gift cards from Found Studio and Snug Books, with proceeds to benefit our non-profit host.
➣ Educational tabling, plant&shrub sale (profits to non-profit host), free tree giveaway, and kids activities.

BRING
➣ Bare root plants and/or seeds to share IF you have them, but bringing something is NOT REQUIRED! More seasoned gardeners are as happy to share their native plant bounty as newbies are to start filling in their garden spaces! A bare root plant sharing guide can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Bes9SUBRixPU8ZfGc5eabM3l69FVEq9Y/view?usp=sharing
1. Native plants only - no invasives or exotics! Native to MD is preferred, though native to adjacent states is allowed, as are nativars. If in doubt, reference www.marylandplantatlas.org and/or http://www.bonap.org/ to verify nativity. Non-invasive crop seeds are also welcome, veggie gardeners!
2. Use this google sheet, if you'd like to see what others are bringing/looking for or add what you are bringing/looking for. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1aBMW7AajsJIEYS5saT0UyIsGxFcSD0YLoQok77XixBY/edit?usp=sharing
➣ Table to display your plant bounty, should you have *a lot* to share, and blanket or chair for relaxing. The Lot will have a selection of tables and chairs, but more places to set yourself up are welcome!

OUR HOST LOCATION
➣ The Lot is Hamilton Lauraville Main Street's recently renovated community space. HLMS is a non-profit community & economic development organization. ➣ We'll have full use of their indoor and outdoor space, restrooms, and on-site nature playground thanks to a generous community building grant!

ABOUT MAGEC
➣ Our online group connects gardeners and interested plant and ecosystem experts to enable us to support each other in creating more environmentally beneficial gardens and other outdoor spaces. Our bi-annual shares in locations across MD are real-life extensions of our online forum, where we share native plants and seeds while connecting with and learning from each other and experts from local environmental organizations.
