It's easy to believe human trafficking happens somewhere else, certainly not in our community and not near our children. We were wrong.
Magdalene's exists today to inform the public about the reality of sex trafficking in our own community and to assist adult women survivors of sexual exploitation.
100% of the net proceeds of the Butterfly Ball are dedicated to funding the costs of training and employing survivors of sex trafficking.

Join us for an elegant evening mingling over cocktails (or mocktails), listening to live music, before making your way to the main event where you'll be served a five-star meal, prepared by Classic City Catering. Celebration and dancing will continue into the night with Smokie Jones & the Freeway 98 Band, Gulf Coast’s top power trio performing all of our favorite Blues, Country, Funk, Classic and Southern Rock tunes. A silent and live auction will keep things lively and fun. Come prepared to out bid your neighbor for a great cause.
