On behalf of Magdalene Hope's Board of Directors, volunteers, and family, we are pleased to welcome you to our fifth annual Freedom Women's Conference! How blessed and honored are we, to share a day with you, filled with praise, glory, and honor to our loving Father, who brings all good things from Heaven to Earth. This year's theme is "Presence and Joy.” #MHFreedomWomen2021King David was called “a man after God’s own heart”, even though he regularly struggled and stumbled. In Psalm 16:11, he declared to God:
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (NKJV)
We have endured many struggles and hardships over the past year and a half. This season was one filled with fear, worry, loss and isolation. As we have begun to reconnect and find our new “normal”, we have been presented with an opportunity to remember what David knew: that only true lasting joy can be found in the presence of the Lord. David understood the meaning of staying close to God:
“Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” -Psalm 16:5-8 (NIV)

This year’s conference will take place on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 9 AM - 5 PM at The River Church, located at 928 17th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301. Doors open at 8 AM!
You will have the option to attend physically (space is limited) or to attend virtually online (a link will be emailed to you one week prior to the event).
Keynote Speakers
Annie Byrne is the founder and Executive Director of Momentum Ministries. As a young girl, Annie dreamed of bringing transformation and hope to people in all cultures of the world. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Annie heard clearly from God, “I’ve fulfilled your dreams for your life, now I want to fulfill My dreams for your life.” After spending over three years with Randy Clark and Global Awakening as a student and personal assistant, Annie served as pastoral senior staff at several churches. Now she ministers solely as a traveling speaker and leadership consultant. Annie’s ministry is often sought after and characterized as revelatory and explosive with clear understanding in hearing God’s voice.
Helen Taylor is the Vice President of Impact for the anti-sex trafficking organization Exodus Cry (known for their award winning documentaries Nefarious and Liberated and for their global activism campaigns such as #Traffickinghub).
Originally from the UK, Helen has been involved in the fight against sex-trafficking for 12+ years and done outreach to those exploited in the sex trade around the world in 10 nations. She is the author of Exodus Cry's "Intervention Manual: a Guide for Reaching Those in the Sex Industry." @exoduscry @helen.mctaylor - www.exoduscry.com
