Site Fee: Free with suggested $5 donation Madrone is hosting a Spring Colloquium on 16 March, full of A&S classes, project making, and socializing for all!
As with previous colloquiums, we will be at Saint Andrew's Church in Bellevue. Our class schedule contains classes from music to maps to making glue!, geared towards both newer SCAdians and SCAdians wishing to explore new areas of learning and making.
We are also hosting a swap meet for garb, equipment, and armor, so take a look through your SCA closet as we approach the summer season and see what you no longer need. The social room has some space to spread out, so bring a current project and play and socialize!
There will be a painting table (materials provided) and a general A&S crafts table, and we hope to have a table set aside for your larger projects like cutting out a dress.
This is a free event, with a suggested donation of $5. Doors open at 10am (set-up at 9am); classes end at 5pm and doors close at 6pm.
Garb is optional. Schedule details will be posted as they become available.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This site does not allow alcohol or weapons of ANY kind. All rattan and steel must be left in the car, and booze should be left at home. Robinswood Park is right next door if folks want to step out for a bit to discuss weapons or demonstrate fighting techniques.
