The original Nutty Boys of Camden, British cultural institutions and purveyors of some of the greatest songs ever written, Madness will return to Australia and New Zealand in 2027 for the ALL ABROAD FOR THE MADNESS HIT PARADE TOUR.
It has been ten years since Madness last toured Australia, making this their first run across the Australian capital cities since 2017. In New Zealand, the wait has been even longer, with the band returning for the first time in 46 years when they last played in the North Island in 1981.
From Our House, It Must Be Love, Baggy Trousers, House of Fun, and countless others, Madness have built one of the most enduring songbooks in popular music.
Now, with the release of their definitive career-spanning collection Hit Parade, the time is right to bring the party back Down Under.
Featuring a huge 45 singles from 45 years, from 1979 through to 2024, Hit Parade captures every era of Madness, bringing together 27 UK Top 40 chart-topping hits alongside rarities and tracks from every chapter of their remarkable career. Hit Parade is an extraordinary catalogue that has made the band one of Britain’s best-loved musical exports.
And there is plenty more Madness on the way with the band re-issue their first five studio albums – One Step Beyond, Absolutely, 7, Rise and Fall, and Keep Moving – in January, just in time for their Australian and New Zealand adventure.
The band’s most recent studio album, Theatre Of The Absurd Presents C’est La Vie, released in 2023, reached No.1 on the UK Official Albums Chart – the first studio album of their 45-year career to reach the peak.
