Madison West Coast Swing Club is excited to have Eric Nava and Rachel Mercedes instructing for us!Eric is a Chicagoland native whom started teaching dance in 2012, but has been dancing since his mom taught him his first steps at the young age of… in the womb. He is a fun and enthusiastic dance instructor who is always excited to teach and inspire students of all ages and levels. His urban teaching style will make class entertainingly but educational.
Rachel began her ballroom career at the age of 7. Rachel has been teaching for over 15 years at Diamond Dancesport and specializes in Pro/Am students in both ballroom and country dancing.
Saturday, November 16th
3:00-4:15 Lesson 1
4:30-5:45 Lesson 2
7:00-8:00 Intermediate pre-dance lesson
8:00-10:30pm Social Dance
A full pass will include two afternoon lessons, the intermediate pre-dance lesson, AND a social dance. (Passes to an individual lesson are also available)
These lessons are geared towards those with West Coast Swing experience; for example, being able to lead or follow basic patterns such as sugar push, left side pass, right side pass, whip, as well as the ability to anchor and stretch. This workshop is not intended for people new to West Coast Swing.
