Madhubani is one of India's oldest folk art traditions, born in the Mithila region of Bihar centuries ago. It's known for its bold colours and intricate line work, and for the stories it tells: myths, devotion, love, and above all, the timeless romance of Radha and Krishna. But Madhubani is more than pretty patterns on paper. There's something genuinely meditative about the process. The slow, deliberate strokes have a way of quieting your mind while connecting you to a piece of India's cultural history.

This isn't your typical workshop, either. We keep it small and hold it in a home studio, so it feels less like a class and more like sitting down with people who share your interest. You'll get real, one-on-one time with the instructor, plenty of room to ask questions, and honestly, it tends to feel less like a "session" and more like spending an afternoon with a small creative family.
