About this Event

Come have fun at the historic Chase Home Museum in Liberty Park as we learn the traditional Indian painting art of Madhubani with artist Durga Ekambaram. Madhubani is a traditional Indian painting done in north east India. The paintings were traditionally done on freshly plastered mud walls and floors of huts, but now they are also done on cloth, handmade paper and canvas. Madhubani paintings mostly depict people and their association with nature.

This workshop is for ages 12 & above. The workshop is free and all materials are provided.
