Madeleine Baking Workshop (Friday Night)
About this Event
Craft and bring home around 20 madeleines in two flavours — Classic Lemon and Earl Grey Chocolate:
- Learn how to prepare madeleine batter for a tender centre and delicately crisp shell
- Master the signature madeleine hump (la bosse)
- Bake bright and refreshing Classic Lemon madeleines
- Create fragrant Earl Grey Chocolate madeleines with tea-infused chocolate ganache
- Finish with elegant dark couverture chocolate decoration
Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your baking skills, this small-class hands-on workshop will guide you through the techniques behind beautifully shaped madeleines — from batter preparation and baking science to flavour, texture and finishing.
You’ll leave with two distinctive flavours, practical techniques you can recreate at home, and a generous box of madeleines to enjoy or share.
Location: Silian Cakery Studio (Warden & Finch area)
*For classes with more than 4 participants, the workshop may be held at 105 Gibson Dr., Markham (Warden & Steeles area). Registered participants will be notified in advance if the venue changes.
Class size: Maximum 8 participants to keep the workshop small and hands-on.
