Join Maeve Jones, Executive Director of the Poe Museum, as she explores the parallels between Edgar Allan Poe's early childhood in Richmond and his literary work as one of the nation's most famous poets and authors!
Founded in 1922, the Poe Museum houses the world's largest public collection of Edgar Allan Poe artifacts, belongings, works, and memorabilia. Before joining the Poe Museum, Maeve worked in historic interpretation and administration at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello. She holds a master's degree from the University of Virginia, where she focused her studies on the development of the realist style in 19th century British literature.
