Learn the basics of character design and create your own characters in this class!About this Event
For ages 8 to 13.
In this 1.5 hour class, students will learn the fundamentals of character design, specifically how it relates to making iconic video game characters. It will start off with a small lecture section followed by application and end with access to the entire museum. More specifically, students will learn:
- What character design is
- General principles for designing characters
Shape
Silhouette
Colors
Movement
Exaggeration
- Breaking the rules to make characters even more unique
