Don't be late, for this very important date! Dress in your darkest best, or transform into a curious creature, then step into a world of elegant wonder! Join us on Saturday September 19th for the Casket's Mad Tea Party! Cross the threshold into the historic Portland Regency Hotel, and follow the white rabbit for an elevated tea EXPERIENCE from 1pm to 4pm.
Your ticket includes a selection of teas, sandwiches, scones and specialty cakes tailored by the chef to fit our wonderland theme. As well as, otherworldly live performances on the violin and piano by Tyler Sherwin. As a classically trained musician, Tyler brings over two decades of experience playing music all around the world. He blends styles across genres, including classical music, covers, and improvisation. When he’s not at goth night, you can find him playing in the Midcoast Symphony Orchestra and producing hardcore music in a metal band with his best friend.
Catherine Carland from Lady in the Moon will also be providing Tarot card readings to our guests. Catherine is well known in the Portland community as a cartomancer with over 20 years experience. Her readings are well grounded and down to earth. She is noted as approaching divination with knowledge and “Letting the mystery speak for itself”. She can be found at the mystical Boutique “The Lady in the Moon” where she manages the shop Wednesdays through Fridays and reads Tarot the First and Last Saturday of every month.
You will also have the chance to capture the wonder with our professional photographer, Patrick Gildard. He has photographed many of our events and always delivers top notch, high quality photos for our guests!
