Join the Ohio Climbers Coalition for a volunteer workday at the Mad River Gorge! During this workday we'll be constructing a small retaining wall at the Eastern Slabs to help prevent erosion at the base of the wall, and start developing a new area that is located just behind Suburban Boulder. To prepare the area for future bolted climbs, we are going to construct a small belay platform and set of stairs to access the wall. The OCC will have work gloves, tools, and safety gear for all volunteers, but we ask that volunteers please bring their own water bottles. Volunteers should wear clothes they are comfortable working in (including sneakers or boots), and bug spray/ sunscreen is recommended. Questions? Please email Steve at: [email protected] .
