As we begin our “Countdown to 40,” it is exciting to revisit some of the greatest hits of the Baroque and Classical eras this fall. The Kansas City Chamber Orchestra has, since the beginning, been recognized for its performances of Mozart, so it is fitting that his final symphonies will help us with the countdown. Beginning Season 38 is an all-Mozart concert featuring the great “Prague” Symphony (No. 38) and Piano Concerto No. 24 with virtuoso soloist, Yangrui Cai. Yangrui studies with Stanislav Ioudenitch at the International Center for Music at Park University.
