It's the final MAD ABOUT MADS screening! Synopsis: A gay married couple, Jacob (Mads Mikkelsen) and Jorgen (Troels Lyby), navigate through life's problems with varying degrees of success - that is, until the handsome Jacob meets Jorgen's sister-in-law, Caroline (Charlotte Munck), and the two hit it off a little too well.
Directed by Hella Joof, the Danish title of the film is En kort en lang (literally "A Short [One], a Long [One]"). Fun fact: Joof hosted Bullerfnis and other Danish children's TV programs, but was also the voice of the title character in the hardcore pornographic film Constance (1998).
This film is the oldest one I've screened in this series; in fact, it's so old I couldn't even find an English-language trailer for it! However, that doesn't mean that it isn't popular amongst Mads fans; as there are dozens of GIFs from the film online, mostly of Mads with food falling out of his mouth, slipping on an ice rink, and kissing his male co-star.
You *must* come to this one! It is sure to be a delightful and awkward viewing experience! And it's the last movie in this series so it's going to be LIT!
