About this Event
Macramé is the therapeutic art of knotting a variety of cords into practical everyday items such jewellery, reusable bags, wall hangings, plant pot hangers and many more.
Under the guidance of Nonia of Norio Knots, you will be taken through step-by-step foundational techniques used in traditional macramé and will be taught how to make two macramé necklaces to take home with you.
This workshop is perfect for a beginner, and those wishing to refresh their macramé skills.
Age suitability: Age 8 years + (All children must be supervised by a parent/carer)
On Sunday 20 October, Muswell Hill Creatives will be bringing people together to get creative at its Make and Mend Festival. Guaranteed to be a feast of creativity with a strong focus on sustainability, take part in a workshop, learn about mending and repairs, shop from local makers and enjoy tasty food and drink. Admission to the Festival is free so be sure to arrive early if you're booking a workshop to take a look around and enjoy all that's on offer. Doors open to the Festival at 1pm and close at 5pm so arrive early, grab something to eat and browse all the great activities taking place.
