Introducing a macrame workshop with a seasonal twist! Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and join us in creating a unique festive ornament for yourself or a loved one. Using a series of age-old techniques, we will be knotting macrame ornaments using soft natural cotton rope to create versatile decorative pieces which can be used year-round. No prior experience needed and all materials are included.
Stephanie Fradette is the fibre artist behind the brand “Le Petit Moose”, a nod to her French-Canadian roots. The Aberdeenshire-based artist blends bold colours into her woven, knotted and tufted wall hangings, showcasing rich textures, contemporary design and craftsmanship. She has been weaving since 2014 and enjoys delivering community-building creative workshops across the UK. She has recently published her first book “Playful Peg Loom Weaving”.
