Learn the art of MACRAME with the local makers and owners Julia and Rachael!You will get to choose from several colors for the center of your wall hanging.
ABOUT MACRAME: Macrame is a textile-making craft using knotting rather than weaving or knitting. This method is used to make ornamental and decorative projects ranging from necklaces, to plant hangers and more.
ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP: In this macrame workshop, you will make a hanging decor piece perfect any day of the year! You can dress it up with seasonal foliage or simply enjoy it as it is - a work of art!
No prior experience is needed. This beginner-friendly workshop is ideal for anyone interested in learning new skills and creating their very own work of art!
In this workshop, your instructor will lead as you learn:
How to begin a macrame piece, including an overview of necessary materials.
How to work several different macrame knots.
How to incorporate a wood pieces.
Leave with a finished piece and the know-how to design and create more pieces on your own.
Class fee ($45) includes instruction and all the necessary supplies and materials.
