New macrame plant hanger class! Ever wanted to learn macrame? Come to The Art Lounge AK and make your own large plant hanger with me! In this evening class, we will learn three different macrame knots that can be the foundation to your new macrame art hobby. In this class I will teach you how to make your very own super-cute macrame plant hanger to take home. There will be a live demonstration as well as one-on-one assistance if you're feeling a little tangled! All supplies and a knot guide will be provided! If you'd like, you can bring your own pottery and we can custom fit your hanger to your pot! The hanger should fit any pot 6"-12", so bringing one isn't required. My name is Liz with Misbehaving Magpie, and I love working with natural fibers. All of the cord you will be using for this class is 100% cotton. This 2-3 hour class is open to everyone, and students under 12 should have their grown-up nearby.
