A new artist is coming to The Dancing Cat adoption lounge!
Join us, and the adorable, adoptable cats of The Dancing Cat, as we take up a new hands-on (without needles or hooks) creative class - macramé! An art with a history stretching as far back as the Babylonions -- macramé is a fiber art made with knotwork, rather than weaving or knitting. In this workshop, you will receive hands-on instruction and be guided through several essential macramé knots as you create two lovely cat-toy-ready creations; a foundational-knot tassle and a more elaborate leaf. You will also get a macramé knot guide, written instructions, enough materials for a second project at home, and a source guide to take with you.
Come join us and bring a friend for a chill morning of crafting and cats!
