1-day class - Saturday, April 22 - 1:00 - 4:00pm $60 In this beginner macrame class, you'll create a semi-custom plant hanger with a finished wood slice. Students will have a choice of beads to choose from to create a project perfect for their home decor. Finished projects will be approximately 4.5 feet long with a 10-12" wood slice platform for your favorite plant. Knots that you'll learn include Chinese crown knot, square knot, square knot picot, and a gathering knot. Professional macrame artisan, Tawny Olsen of Knotty Tawny, will be your guide. She'll also teach you tips and tricks for knot tying and finishing projects and send you home with written instructions, too.
All supplies will be provided.
Optional items to bring:
- Layered clothing, as the temperatures may be difficult to manage in the building
- Bottled water/beverage
