This year the Community Service Committee is partnering with Rebuilding Macon to help rehab a home in the Macon area. Our designated workday is Saturday, April 27th from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Breakfast will be served from 7 to 9 and work will start by 9. You can sign up for a shift or come all day if you can. Below is the link to volunteer your time.
WARNER ROBINS INFORMATION:
We also have another opportunity in Houston County with Rebuild Warner Robins. We wanted to give Houston County agents the opportunity to get involved in your local community.
Here are the details for our National Rebuild Day Safe and Healthy Housing Kit Distribution: The program is designed to provide fire safety equipment to residents in and around the Camellia Circle neighborhood. Several streets are selected in the area, and we go door to door with the Warner Robins Fire Dept. distributing and installing the equipment and literature. Generally, everyone pairs in groups of 3/4... one completes the data sheets while the remaining team members install the equipment. This is also April 27th at 9am.
