MacKenzie Smith Luncheon

The cost of the luncheon is $59 pp, and includes a signed copy of Grilled Cheese Social by MacKenzie Smith, who will be featured live at the luncheon. Lunch will include favorites from her book with some tasty side dishes, complete with a sweet ending treat. Stephen Fries will interview and chat with MacKenzie for about 40 minutes with a 15 minute Q & A session to follow.

Stephen Fries, culinary travel columnist, Professor Emeritus of Hospitality Management, and Board Member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, will interview New Smyrna Beach local, Mackenzie Smith, the creative force behind GrilledCheeseSocial.com. Not only does she have nearly a million social media followers across platforms but she’s also a cookbook author, 2x food network champion, former executive chef at Black Dolphin Inn, and a globe hopper food and travel guide!

With a background in restaurant kitchens, recipe development, food media and a deep-seated love for all things cheesy, Mackenzie started out her career in the culinary world by celebrating the simple joy of a perfectly crafted grilled cheese sandwich.

Almost 15 years later, her infectious enthusiasm and keen eye for unexpected flavor combinations have garnered a dedicated following, eager to indulge in her inventive recipes and culinary adventures.
