A Visual Artist Show a long w/ Music By: MAINTAIN & Friends

Community Connection Thru Showing Expression
We're extremely excited to bring you a show that's truly one of a kind. Beauty & Beats started as a small idea between my amazing friend Mackenzie Logan & myself to put on a show w/ many different forms of art together w/a blend of live music. We manifested the idea into action and I can't be more pumped for this. We have some of the best local artists in the Triad area who will be showing off their art in the most purest form. As well, we have myself(MAINTAIN) & two other very talented DJ's providing that raw elegant sound that is known as true beat matching in it's rarest entity and as well will have an amazing drummer joining us for a one of a kind collaboration.
We're going to take you on a journey that is going to enlighten your soul.

This is a charity fundraising event as we will be raising money for the Guilford Education Alliance Teacher Supply Warehouse. There will be a raffle to raise money for the non-profit.
Raffle Details: Each raffle ticket will be $2.
Multiple pieces of art will be won as you will be able to buy raffle tickets for each individual piece.
All art for the raffle will be donated by our artists.
Each piece will have a limited number of tickets that you may purchase for that specific piece.
*So if you see more than one piece that you like you have the option to buy tickets for just one or two or all pieces.
Raffle will start when our event starts at 3pm and the raffle call will be promptly at 6:30pm
You must be in attendance during the raffle call to receive your winning piece of art.
There will be a booth set up with someone to answer any of your questions about the raffle.

The Hosts..
Matthew aka (MAINTAIN, the DJ)
I come from a wide diverse background of music and art. Previously I have put together some of the most iconic original events over the years. I've thrown multiple charity events ranging from special needs, autism, wounded warrior project and more. My last event WingScape (3rd Instalment) was one for the record books brining people together from four different states and was absolutely nothing but a vibe. Started in the music scene young, in the late 90's dancing many forms of hip-hop, liquid, popping and breakdancing. My go to genres of music.. house, break beats, techno, uk-garage, hip-hop, reggae, reggaeton, trap, 80's/90's, classic rock, alternative and my #1.. that Drum & Bass.
Mackenzie aka MACK: she has always been passionate about getting groups of people together to exchange ideas and stimulate creativity. She has a love for art & personal expression while making repurposed jewelry among many other things. She considers herself an astrology researcher (studied for over 20+ yrs) & she's excited to watch her two daughters grow into their own creative individuals.

The Artists..
b.dirks: his work is raw, abstract & transcendent-- arcanely honest in it's exploration of the primal. Dark both in tone & feeling, his pieces are built w/ earthy palettes & wisps of brushwork that summon spectral figures. These forms often hover at the edge of visibility, dissolving in to the canvas as if they were never fully there. Some figures haunt, others provoke curiosity, while still others leave the veiwer with a sense of distance or alienation.

Oceallic: is a women-owned Vedic lifestyle brand. They use nature's treasures such as flowers, seashells and foliage. The art and adornments are hand-painted by Vast Kalki. Inspiring creation with mindful, authentic living.
*Jewelry Art
Destiny: is a Greensboro-based artist known for her surreal, vibrant and immersive works. For this show she will transform her husband John into a living canvas, blending art and life into one experience.
*Body Paint Artist
John Richards: has spent years crafting soulful cold-connection jewelry that blends the grounding beauty of semiprecious stones with the flowing elegance & intricacies of copper wire. His jewelry is inspired by a nature's raw textures and the ancient symbolism of stones, w/aesthetics of fantasy & sci-fi. Every piece is handmade w/ intention & heart.

Beige Ombre: a non-binary, astrological influenced design & sewn goods apparel brand.
*Presents debut collection: 'Elemental Modalities' A fashion journey through the zodiac signs' & their elements.
Aaron Weldon: he creates two types of water--inspired art: epoxy pieces & gyotaku (fish prints). His epoxy work reflects the movement and depth of water in all it's forms--rivers lakes and seas-- through layered resin waves & textures. His gyotaku prints are made using real fish he's caught, pressed w/ink to capture their natural details in the traditional Japanese style. His booth will have both resin waterscapes & authentic fish impressions.

Our Photographer: Bennierosevelt - For over a decade ROSEOGRAPHY has refined an editorial & artistic style that captures the essence of the human experience. Each photograph is crafted to feel both timeless and alive--images that belong as much on the walls of galleries as they do in the intimacy of a home.

The other DJ's:
Bradley Drop: is a DJ/Producer based out of Washington D.C. Drop has had several of his songs hit the #1 spot on the Beatport break beats chart top 100. His DJ sets are a blend of various forms of breakbeat music from hip-hop to drum & Bass and everything in between.
DJ Dlinkwent: is a dj, dancer, & graphic designer currently based out of Greensboro, NC. Finding his passion for dancing & art growing up in the streets of High Point, NC. All that led up to him creating relationships in the dance community & club scene, which opened his passion for DJ-ing. He has Dj'd for Fat Tuesday's.. Limelight, Bearded Goat, Culture Lounge, Grey's Tavern etc. He has Dj'd for City events like Food Truck festivals, Juneteenth, First Friday's and more.
